We are a very busy, high-end tailoring shop seeking an experienced and skilled Tailor/Seamstress to join our team. Our shop serves a discerning clientele with a focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of alterations and tailoring on men’s and women’s garments, including suits, dresses, formalwear, and casual clothing.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Conduct fittings and communicate effectively with clients to meet their needs and preferences.
- Handle a high volume of garments while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Work collaboratively with our team to deliver outstanding service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress, or alterations specialist.
- Expertise in both hand and machine sewing techniques.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric types.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a busy shop environment.
- Flexible schedule and ability to handle rush orders when needed.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based position offering exceptional earning potential. Our busy shop and loyal client base ensure a steady stream of high-value work for skilled professionals.
